SleekTap (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by XLNC Digital, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using our website, products, or dashboard, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

 

Who This Policy Applies To

This Policy applies to:

  • Customers who purchase SleekTap products
  • Business owners and professionals who set up and manage SleekTap profiles via the dashboard
  • Visitors to sleektap.com
  • Anyone whose phone taps or scans a SleekTap product (tap recipients)

 

What Data We Collect and Why

We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve the SleekTap service. The table below details exactly what we collect, where it comes from, and why.

Payment Data:

SleekTap does not collect, store, or have access to any payment card information (card number, CVV, expiry date). All payment data is handled exclusively and directly by Stripe, our payment processor. SleekTap only receives confirmation of a successful or failed payment. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store:

  • Credit card numbers, CVV codes, or expiry dates — these go directly to Stripe
  • Social media passwords or login credentials for any third-party platform
  • The personal data of tap recipients unless they voluntarily submit it through a form you create
  • Any biometric data

 

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Create and manage your SleekTap account
  • Process your order and activate your products
  • Send you account credentials, order confirmations, and support communications
  • Power your dashboard analytics — tap counts, unique visitors, peak hours, device data, geolocation, and destination tracking
  • Maintain platform security and detect fraudulent activity
  • Improve SleekTap products and services

We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your data to any third party.

 

How We Share Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Stripe — Our payment processor. Receives billing address and payment method details to process transactions securely. SleekTap does not receive or store card details.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — Third-party services that host the SleekTap platform under strict data processing agreements.
  • Legal obligations — We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • Business transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may transfer to the successor entity under the same privacy protections.

 

Cookies and Tracking

SleekTap uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and dashboard to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies from third-party ad networks.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain dashboard features.

 

Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Analytics data collected from tap events (device type, IP, browser, etc.) is retained for 12 months and then deleted or anonymised.

 

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
  • Deletion — request that your data be deleted (right to be forgotten)
  • Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format

  • Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

Third-Party Links and Platforms

SleekTap allows you to link your products to third-party platforms such as Google, Yelp, Instagram, TikTok, and others. When a tap recipient visits those platforms, they are subject to that platform’s own privacy policy. SleekTap is not responsible for the data practices of third-party platforms.

 

Children’s Privacy

SleekTap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us, and we will delete it promptly.

 

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the ‘Last Updated’ date at the top of this page. Continued use of SleekTap after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
