These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SleekTap website, products, dashboard, and all associated services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by XLNC Digital. By purchasing a SleekTap product, creating an account, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

 

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase or use SleekTap products. If you are using SleekTap on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

 

Account Registration

When you place an order, a SleekTap dashboard account is automatically created using the email address you provide at checkout. You will receive a temporary password by email. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately at support@sleektap.com if you suspect unauthorised access

SleekTap is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

 

Products and Orders

SleekTap sells physical NFC products including the Smart Card, Smart Stand, Sleek Tag, Wristband, and InvisiTap. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.

Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed.

 

Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By providing your payment details, you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method. SleekTap does not collect, store, or have access to your card number, CVV, or expiry date at any time.

All prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes and shipping fees will be shown at checkout.

 

Returns and Refunds

We offer a 30-day return policy on non-customised SleekTap products. To be eligible for a return:

  • The product must be unused and in its original packaging
  • The return must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
  • Customised or personalised products (including custom-branded Smart Cards) are non-refundable unless they arrive defective or damaged

To initiate a return, contact us at support@sleektap.com with your order reference. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the returned item. Outbound shipping fees are non-refundable.

 

SleekTap Dashboard

Every SleekTap product includes access to the SleekTap web dashboard at no additional cost. The dashboard allows you to manage destination URLs, view analytics, download QR codes, and manage your products.

Dashboard access is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect access. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

 

SleekTap Pro Subscription

SleekTap Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks advanced dashboard features. Key terms:

  • Subscription fee: $9.99 per month
  • Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis until cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from within your dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused days
  • SleekTap reserves the right to change Pro pricing with prior notice

 

Permitted Use

SleekTap products and the dashboard are provided for lawful personal and commercial use. You agree not to:

  • Use SleekTap to link to or distribute illegal, harmful, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringing content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with any SleekTap hardware or software
  • Resell or redistribute SleekTap products without prior written authorisation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the SleekTap platform or its servers
  • Use SleekTap to collect personal data from tap recipients without their consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

 

Data Collection via Tap Events

When a phone taps or scans one of your SleekTap products, the Service automatically collects certain technical data including the recipient’s IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, timestamp, and destination redirect path. This data is displayed in your analytics dashboard and is governed by our Privacy Policy.

As a SleekTap user, you are responsible for ensuring your use of this analytics data complies with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction, including any obligation to disclose data collection to tap recipients.

 

Intellectual Property

All SleekTap software, content, trademarks, logos, product designs, and platform features are the intellectual property of XLNC Digital or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any SleekTap materials without prior written permission.

 

Third-Party Platforms

SleekTap allows you to link your products to third-party platforms including Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, and Stripe. SleekTap is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party platform. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies.

 

Disclaimer of Warranties

SleekTap products and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, XLNC Digital and SleekTap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the total amount you have paid to SleekTap in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

 

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless XLNC Digital, SleekTap, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

 

Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Service.

 

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of  Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of  Plano, Texas.

 

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SleekTap regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings.
